Special Education: Inclusion Teaching

The Pre-Kindergarten teacher talks about inclusion teaching and involving students who have special needs. She strives to create a community of learners and cooperative environment. The teacher also talks about the differences in students and making accommodations (such as for a child who has autism). She speaks about working with autism specialists and the supports provided by the district. There are challenges facing the teacher at the beginning of the school year because the students are unknown (since it is Pre-K).
